I actually made a resolution this year to light more candles for some ambiance and evening relaxation. I have quite a few candles at home and love buying candles for other people, but somehow never light any for myself – why?
But candles are a great way to set a romantic mood, release a relaxing scent or add a lovely decor accent to your space, so I thought I’d explore some stunning candles for the home that smell pretty nice too.

Fernweh is a German expression that translates to “longing for faraway places” – which is a good description of my life right about now…longing for faraway places… but not going to any of those places because of the two little girls at home that I don’t think are ready for extensive travel just yet (maybe next year though!).
