Belif Skin Care Is Now Available From Avon!

So Avon has recently been killing it with all their new product releases and collaborations, n’est ce pas?

Their innovative collaboration with The Face Shop blew my mind and now, they’ve added Korean skin care brand Belif into the mix, because they apparently didn’t have enough awesome products to choose from.

Belif is all about moisture and uses tried and tested apothecary herbal traditions along with modern Korean skin care science for products that work, period.

I’ve wanted to try Belif skin care for the longest time and I finally got to experience their herbal-based formulas when I tried The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb and The True Cream Aqua Bomb, along with the Aqua Bomb Jelly Cleanser.

Belif The Aqua Bomb Jelly Cleanser

This gentle sulfate-free cleanser is targeted to all skin types and promises to blow dirt, bacteria, oil, sweat and impurities to the curb while keeping skin hydrated and pampered.

Made with glycerin and amino acid cleansing agents, it cleans skin without stripping it dry. It also has the loveliest lemon citrus scent!

As for the herbal content, the Aqua Bomb Jelly Cleanser is formulated with Lady’s Mantle, which is known for its anti-oxidant benefits. 

Oh, and you won’t find any synthetic dyes, fragrances, mineral oil, animal products, parabens, sulfates or phthalates in this stuff either.

How to use: Mix a squirt of this jelly with water to create a gentle jelly-to-foam emulsion. Rinse with lukewarm water for a clean, non-greasy finish.

Belif The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb

This moisturizer has been on my face morning and night since my Dr. Belmeur Advanced Cica Hydro cream emptied. 

The True Cream has a rich, emollient texture that feels luxurious once applied and starts to absorb instantly with zero greasiness. 

It promises 26 hours of intense hydration while promoting elasticity and firmness – perfect for dry, dehydrated or just plain tired skin (a.k.a. my skin after having kids).

It’s also made with Comfrey leaf, which is known to detoxify, soothe and hydrate.

Other soothing and hydrating ingredients of interest include glycerin, macadamia seed oil, mistletoe extract, salix alba (Willow Bark) extract and avena sativa kernel extract. 

Honestly, my skin has been drinking this stuff up within seconds; it absorbs so quickly on me I can barely finish applying it before it’s gone!

It’s super plumping and makes a great makeup base, underneath my La Roche Posay Anthelios sunscreen, of course.

Belif  The True Cream Aqua Bomb

The perfect moisturizer for summer, especially if you have oily/combo skin, The True Cream Aqua Bomb is a blue-tinted, lightweight gel moisturizer that has the most delightful cooling sensation.

The antioxidant power of Lady’s Mantle helps reduce free radicals before they can cause damage to the skin and the ultra-light formula packs a ton of hydration without any greasiness, featuring ingredients similar to the Moisturizing Bomb.

I’ve been applying this in the morning under my sunscreen and it’s the perfect gel moisturizer.
