Amazon Must Haves That Make Life Easier -

I’ve found so many helpful items on Amazon, so I really wanted to create a post that shared some of the most useful lifestyle, tech and organization products on Amazon that make living during a pandemic just a bit easier.

Lifestyle & Beauty Amazon Must Haves

1. Posture Corrector

Featured in my Amazon Self Care Guide, this posture corrector has been a life saver for me. I often hunch my shoulders forward when I’m working at my desk, which leads to a lot of back and shoulder pain later. This adjustable posture corrector can be worn under a blazer and helps to pull your shoulders back to keep you from slouching and forces you to maintain better posture while you wear it.

2. Women’s Shoe Stretcher

This shoe stretcher has become indispensable to me. It’s perfect for anyone who has naturally wide feet, or like me, had their feet become wider after having kids (yes, that can happen and it sucks!). This also stretches shoes to make them longer in the back, wider on top and can make room for bunions too.

Just insert this sucker into your shoes, twist the black knob the end will expand. Leave it in overnight and your shoe will be much roomier in the morning – you can repeat as needed. It also comes with removable oval pieces that you can add to the side of the stretcher to make room for bunions.

3. Microfibre Hair Towels

If you read my post “8 Ways to Avoid Damaging Your Hair”, then you know that it’s vital to dry your hair as much as possible before heat styling to avoid damage. Microfibre towels are better at absorbing water than regular cotton towels, so I bought these towels for me and my daughters.

The towels are super thin and light, but they absorb water like nobody’s business! Just be sure to squeeze, not rub out, the excess water.

4. TENS Muscle Stimulator

Reviewed in more detail here, muscle stimulators are a great way to get a massage in the comfort of your own home any time you want. Simply attach the self-adhesive reusable pads to the parts of your body that are tense and in pain and the stimulator will send a mild electrical current to contract the muscle, stimulating blood flow and relaxation. The muscle stimulator has a number of intensity settings and massage types to choose from for a custom massage experience!

5. Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer Brush

If you want a salon blowout that you can do from home, the Revlon Hair Dryer Brush is your new baby. The all in one brush and dryer design allows you to smooth and dry your hair faster for voluminous, shiny hair. It has 3 heat settings and Cool shot setting to set your style in seconds.

6. Scalp Massager

One of my most relaxing purchases from Amazon is this silicone tipped scalp massager. Scalp massage helps to boost blood circulation, which can benefit hair growth and retention. Scalp massage also helps to exfoliate dead skin off the scalp and feels amazing too! The rubber tips are also gentle and won’t tear at your skin.

7. Adjustable Laptop Stand

Working at a desk all day can be hard on your back, but not with this adjustable laptop stand. You can adjust the height and angle to accommodate your ergonomic needs, or raise it all the way up for a standing workstation to stretch your legs and work your core.

8. Makeup Vanity Mirror

Never apply your makeup in the shadows again! This 15×9 inch light up vanity mirror will ensure you get the best lighting for your makeup application every time and offers a 10x magnification area to help apply your eye or lip makeup flawlessly.

9. Cushioned Kitchen Mat

If you suffer from sore feet, legs or back from standing all day in the same spot at home or at work, this cushioned floor mat is your saviour. It cushions your feet while you stand to improve comfort and has a waterproof finish to repel spills and drips. I have one in our kitchen in front of my sink and it definitely helps relieve the pressure on my feet after a long day of dishwashing.

11. Hemming Tape

I found this tape while viewing some DIY Instagram reels; apparently you can apply this hemming tape to any material and iron it on to hem your pants, skirts or curtains – so much easier than sewing in your hem, right? I’ll be using mine to hem my curtains that are way too long.

12. Rug Grippers

I can’t stand when my floor mats and rugs move around on me, so these rug grippers are a must for non-moving rugs.

For your favourite chair or your office, this memory foam foot rest will hold your tootsies in comfort wherever you go.

1 . Wireless Charging Pad

Is plugging in an adapter to charge your phone too tiring? Grab this wireless charging pad for your bedside table or home office and charge your devices without having to track down your power adapter ever again!

2. Bluetooth Shower Speaker

Honestly, I hate taking showers; they have become another thing on my to-do list that I have to squeeze into my already jam-packed day. But when I saw this Bluetooth shower speaker, I decided it was time to turn my shower into a disco, because why not?

The speaker has a suction cup on the bottom so you can attach it to your shower wall and the Bluetooth functionality lets you connect it to your mobile or tablet so you can listen to your favourite music while you wash. You can also answer phone calls on it, although I haven’t tried this function yet, because no one calls me 🙁

This speaker is super fun, although it’s made my showers run a bit longer. It also helps drown out the sound of any screaming kids, which is a bonus.

3. Air Pods

A cord free way to listen to music or speak on your phone, Air Pods are the perfect way to cancel out background noise and better focus on your work or play.

4. Mug Warmer

If you’re like me and tend to always drink your coffee after it’s gotten cold, you’ll appreciate the handiness of this mug warmer that has adjustable temperature settings and an auto shut off. never drink cold coffee again with this ingenious home office necessity!

5. WiFi Extender

If you have dead spots in your home where your WiFi is minimal to nil, I highly recommend getting a WiFi extender. This plugin gadget will boost your WiFi signal and make those dead spots disappear.

6. Digital Antenna

I stream the majority of my tv shows and movies, but I do like to get a few live tv channels to watch the news and other events. If you don’t like paying for cable like I do, then you need an HD digital antenna in your life. Get full HD tv channels for free using this antenna and cut the cord for good (you’ll only get a few channels though depending on your area!).
