I have a small pile of sheet masks building up in a drawer that I’ve been saving for “special occasions.” In truth, I don’t really have a lot of these occasions to go to, hence the ever growing sheet mask pile.
However, I finally decided to dip into my mask stash and it was such a lovely treat! Why have I been denying myself this simple pleasure?

Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Tencel Sheet Mask
I received several of these Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Tencel Masks from Wishtrend as gifts and decided I could spare one of them for a quick spa night. This is a two-part Korean sheet mask made with ceramides to enhance the skin’s moisture barrier.
Along with ceramides, the key ingredients in this cruelty-free, vegan, unscented sheet mask are:
-Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (skin soothing)
-Panthenol (vitamin B5 for moisturizing/skin healing)
-Allantoin (skin smoothing, soothing, moisturizing)
-Centella Asiatica Extract (skin soothing, moisturizing)
The mask fit my face well so I didn’t have to worry about it slipping or sliding off while catching up on my Netflix – my husband and I were watching Making A Murderer Part 2, at the time, FYI.
After 20 minutes, I removed the mask, wrung out any extra product and applied it to my face. The result? Super soft, hydrated and plump skin! So glad I have several more of these.

Sheet Mask Tip: Use a pulsing facial massager or jade roller on top of your sheet mask to boost product absorption and blood flow to the skin for an extra glow!
Sally’s Box Loverecipe Aloe Sheet Mask
During the summer, I spent about 5 minutes in the sun without sunscreen one day and ended up with a bright pink, angry face that evening.
I love aloe for soothing skin irritation and redness, so as soon as I saw this Sally’s Box Aloe sheet mask in my drawer, I immediately slapped it on.
I found this mask a little big around the nose area, but it otherwise fit my face okay.
It felt wonderfully cool on my slightly burnt skin, although the mask formulation was so liquid that it kept dripping down my chin and neck. Luckily I was wearing a tank top that night, so my chest got some extra hydration!
After removing the mask and applying any extra product back onto my face, my skin not only felt amazing, but I was GLOWING! We’re talking glass skin glowing – very impressive!
I followed up this mask with a bit of my Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream, which is amazing for soothing and healing sensitive, irritated, blemished or otherwise stressed skin and my face returned to its happy, pale self the next day.
Since this mask was so liquid, there was a lot of leftover product left in the package that I made sure to use up over the next couple days.
