Burnt Orange

Oranges are everywhere in the fall and burnt orange is the warmer version of this popular Halloween colour.

Berry  & Burgundy

I love berry and burgundy shades in the fall because I feel like they work on every skin tone. The ultimate feminine fall shade, berry and burgundy are autumn’s take on traditional pink.

Deep Purples, Plums & Mauves

My favourite colour! Purples are gorgeous all year round for me, but deep purples really come to life in autumn and are especially gorgeous paired with green or brown eyes. If rich purples are too heavy on your lips, mauve is my softer go-to shade.

Bronze & Copper 

Bronze and copper shades fit right in with the changing fall colours.

Warm Yellows & Golds

I’m a little new to yellow eyeshadows, but they’re a lot more wearable then I thought and look great blended with warm browns, plums or greens. Golds, on the other hand are stunning all year round and shimmering golds are perfect for opening up tired eyes in the morning.

Golds are also great on the lips; my personal favourite lip topper is the e.l.f. Cosmetics Lip Plumping Gloss in “Champagne Glam” – it’s a super pretty light gold gloss that will give your lips an extra volume boost!

Rose Gold

Rose gold has quickly become one of my most favourite shades, so I couldn’t possibly skip it in my fall drugstore makeup post. From eyeshadows to highlighters, rose gold is flattering all autumn long on pretty much everyone.

My current favourite rose gold makeup item is the Aqua Beauty Molten Cream eyeshadow from e.l.f. in “Brushed Copper” – the most gorgeous rose-tinted shimmery eye topper ever!

 

Deep Greens & Khakis

I love green shadows for my brown eyes and deep greens are perfect for adding some drama to my peepers during the cooler fall months.

The Wet N’ Wild Color Icon “Comfort Zone” eyeshadow palette is a drugstore pick that I’ve loved in the past and has a gorgeous shade of khaki green in it (and the other shades are pretty too!).

Cherry Red

There isn’t a season that doesn’t include a classic red lip, in my opinion, so cherry reds couldn’t be left out of this fall makeup round up.

But don’t just think red is for the lips; cherry blushes and eyeshadows are also great for making a bold fall makeup statement.
