Scalp Massager Hair Tool

I love my scalp massager! It  is a super affordable hair care tool that relieves stress while boosting blood flow within the scalp and exfoliating dead skin cells that can inhibit hair growth. They’re also a great way to massage a good scalp oil into your roots for hair growth and scalp health.

Round Ceramic Hair Styling Tools

A hair styling tool I can’t live without in my hair care routine is a ceramic round styling brush to lift and smooth my hair during hair drying. It’s also perfect for adding volume to my crown, creating soft waves or for styling bangs.

A weekly hair mask is a great way to nourish and hydrate tired locks for improved smoothness, healthy and shine. A hair mask is especially important if you suffer from dry, damaged hair or split ends that need some smoothing.

Hair Oil

Hair oiling is known to nourish and hydrate hair, while adding a hair oil to the scalp that contains rosemary oil (mixed with a carrier oil) can boost hair growth. Mielle Scalp & Hair Strengthening Oil can be used on scalp and hair to promote growth and hair health.

Combining this hair oil with a scalp massager would be a great way to boost scalp health!

Heatless Curls Set Hair Styling Tool

Heat styling can damage your hair and takes time to do. Instead, invest in a heatless curls flex rods or curling set that sets your curls overnight for full, bouncy hair in the morning. I feel the flex rods are easier to use than the long, curling tube, which can be hard to maneuverer. To learn how to use heatless curl rods,

Silk Scrunchies & Hair Cords

Silk scrunchies are perfect for tying up your hair without damaging your strands, as the silk  reduces friction on strands. Similarly, hair cords are also a great hair-tie option that is gentler on strands. Order a few and throw them in your handbag, desk and makeup vanity for whenever you need them.

Claw Clips

Claw clips are an easy way to hold your hair back while reducing damage. Grab a few different sizes to clip parts or all of your hair out of your face.

Tip: Don’t wear claw clips while driving, they can be pushed into your head if you get into an accident.

Micro-Fiber Towel Hair Care Tool

Squeezing your hair in a microfiber towel can help remove excess water from your hair to speed drying because of their super absorbent material.  Never rub or twist your hair while wet in a towel, it can cause breakage.

High-Speed Hair Dryer

A good hair dryer can speed up your drying time and reduce the amount of time spent heat styling your hair. While the Dyson hair dryer has long been considered the gold standard of hair drying, there are a number of options out there that are just as good and more cost effective.

Personally, I have the Shark HyperAir Ionic Hair Dryer which dries my hair super fast with its lightweight design.

Heat protectant spray can protect your locks from heat damage from hair drying and heat styling tools, preventing damage and breakage to your strands.

Ceramic Hair Styling Tools

Ceramic heat styling tools retain heat really well while minimizing damage to your hair. I personally love the L’Ange Hair Le Duo 2-In-1 Curling Wand to curl and straighten my hair. It’s super easy to use, lightweight and comes with built-in cooling vents to cool hair while you style.

Hair Perfume

This is definitely an optional item, but if you love great smelling hair, a hair perfume is a must! I wouldn’t suggest this for the workplace (since most are scent-free to avoid irritating other people) but if you want to smell great on a night out, you def need to grab a bottle.

Detangling Brush

Pulling on your hair, especially when it’s wet, to brush or detangle it can cause breakage and frizz. One of the most essential hair styling tools is a good brush, hands down.

Invest in a gentle detangling brush to keep strands from breaking. And remember to always gently brush your hair, especially when it’s wet and at its weakest.

Dermaroller For Hair Growth

Dermarolling, also known as microneedling, is a technique used to stimulate collagen production and promote skin rejuvenation. It’s also been touted believed to stimulate hair growth when rolled onto the scalp.  It’s thought that dermarolling can increase blood flow to better deliver nutrients to hair follicles, activates the body’s growth factors, allows for better absorption of scalp treatments (like Minoxidil) and may reduce scalp inflammation that could inhibit hair growth.

Dermarollers must be properly disinfected before and after each use to kill bacteria and avoid infections, so I suggest you read my microneedling post first to under stand how to work and maintain a dermaroller. Also be sure to start with 0.5mm dermarollers and start slow.
