Double cleansing at the end of each night is one of the moments I look forward to after a long day. De-gunking and removing my makeup and SPF always feels amazing and I like to use this time to relieve the tension in my face and neck before I get settled in for the night. Lately, I’ve happily been using a few facial cleansing items from environmentally conscious Junoco (previously Juno & Co.) that have been making my cleansing routine even better and I’m super happy to be sharing them with you in today’s post!

Junoco Clean 10 Cleansing Balm
Clean 10 can be used by any skin type and uses oil to break down makeup and SPF to leave you with clean, refreshed skin. The star ingredient of this balm is Japanese Barley Magic (fermented Japanese Pearl Barley in the ingredients list) – which is loaded with vitamins and antioxidants that regulate the skin’s melanin production. Clean 10 gently cleanses without stripping skin and works to brighten the complexion while reducing dark spots.
How can you add this balm into your skin care routine? Clean 10 Cleansing Balm can be used in your skin care routine morning or night. Use it in the morning as a gentle, nourishing cleanser or use it at night on its own or as the first step in your double cleansing routine to remove stubborn makeup and sunscreen after a long day.

How to use? Massage a dollop of the Clean 10 Cleansing Balm (using the plastic scoop included) onto your skin and then rinse away with lukewarm water. For the best experience, pair the balm with the Junoco Cleansing Cookie and the brand’s Clarifying Cleansing Powder to create an antioxidant-loaded double cleansing routine!
How it worked for me: I love this balm! It worked well to remove my full face of makeup and sunscreen, including my waterproof L’Oreal Lash Paradise mascara, which is always a pain to fully remove. It has a barely there lemon-like scent and a texture that glides easily across the skin for a nourishing, relaxing facial cleansing experience. I’ve been pairing it with the Junoco Cleansing Cookie (which I’ve become obsessed with!) and the results are clean, soft skin every time.
Junoco Clarifying Cleansing Powder
The Junoco Clarifying Cleansing Powder is made with antioxidant-packed rice lees extract in a powder-to-foam cleanser that promises clean, clear skin. The super fine powder includes hyaluronic acid to hydrate skin, while papaya enzymes and rice powder from Japanese Sake gently exfoliate skin for a healthy glow.
The Clarifying Cleansing Powder can be used by all skin types – even sensitive skin – and even has anti-aging properties that work to reduce fine lines and wrinkles for the more mature crowd. It’s also free from alcohol, sulfates, fragrances and astringents and dispenses through a hole in the top of the bottle (pictured below).
How can you add this powder into your skin care routine? This cleansing powder can be used in your morning or evening skin care routine. Use it in the morning on its own to revive dull skin or use it at night as part of your double cleansing routine (it would be used after an oil-based cleanser, such as the Clean 10 Cleansing Balm).
How to use? Shake the bottle well and then pour out a half teaspoon of the powder into wet hands and gently massage onto the skin (avoiding the eye area). Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.
How it worked for me: I’ve never used a cleansing powder, so I was super excited to try this one! This stuff does what it claims, it transforms from powder to foam and gently cleanses skin. I originally thought the powder would have a textured, scratchy feeling on my skin, but it completely dissolves with the water and cleans without any scratchiness. This powder will be a go-to cleanser for me in the hot, summer months when I need an extra boost in the facial cleansing department that cuts through all the oil, sweat and general greasy build up from a long, hot day. I also use this powder in the morning as a single cleanse and it’s become a great way to start my day.
Skin Care Tip: Remember, whenever you try new skin care products, always patch test a small amount of the product on your a couple days before applying the product to your face/or neck to ensure you are not allergic to any of the ingredients.
Junoco Cleansing Cookie
The Cleansing Cookie is a fun skin care tool that makes makeup removal a blast! It’s a huge, round cotton reusable cleansing puff that comes in blue or white that’s made to work with the Clean 10 Cleansing Balm or any cleansing balm of your choice.
How to use? Fully wet the Cleansing Cookie before use. Add a dollop of the Clean 10 Cleansing Balm onto clean hands and massage the balm onto your face. Use the wet Cleansing Cookie to continually massage the Balm all over your face to gently remove your makeup or SPF until clean. Follow with the Clarifying Cleansing Powder (or water-based cleanser of your choice) to complete the double cleanse process.
Maintenance tips: Wash the Cleansing Cookie 1-2 times per week and let fully dry after each use.
How it worked for me: I loved this Cookie way more than I expected to. It feels super soft on my face and makes removing makeup a breeze. Instead of smearing the makeup around with your fingers, the Cleansing Cookie lifts the makeup away from your face and onto the Cookie. I simply give the Cookie a good rinse with water after I’m done, wring it out and it’s ready to go the next evening.
