Avon has been releasing a heap of new beauty products lately, so much so that I’ve been having a hard time keeping up. And I have to tell you, nothing gets me more excited when I come home from work than seeing a new Avon package just waiting to be opened…
The brand has seriously impressed me with their products this year, both in terms of packaging and performance. The Cashmere Complexion foundation and concealer instantly wowed me when I honestly didn’t expect them to and Avon continues to stun with their impressive lip products, which I’ve loved for ages.
Avon’s collaboration with Korean beauty brands such as Belif, Dr. Belmeur and The Face Shop also led to a lot of great beauty finds for me, some of which were instant favourites. Oh, and did I mention Avon has some awesome fragrances and hair care too?

Avon x The Face Shop Rouge Powder Matte Lipsticks + Rouge Satin Moisture Lipsticks
Avon has great lip products and these Rouge Powder Matte lipsticks from The Face Shop are no exception. The formula is gorgeously creamy and applies super smoothly with great pigment.
Despite the matte finish, these lipsticks never look or feel dry on my lips and they have great staying power for the majority of my work day.
Their biggest benefit?
These lipsticks have a lovely blurring effect on the lips, which hides any bumps or imperfections on the lip or along the lip line; perfect for bolder lip shades that can look a bit heavy on the edges or for more mature lips.
Looking for more glow?
Avon’s Rouge Satin Moisture lipsticks by The Face Shop are a great option!
These lipsticks have a more hydrating formula and add a slight sheen to the lips for an instant volume boost – you can see me wearing “Midnight Rose” a few pics down.
Avon x The Face Shop Ink Lasting Primer
I use this Ink Lasting Primer steadily in my makeup routine. It instantly smooths out the texture in my skin and helps may foundation grip better too.
The primer is clear and thick – your typical silicone smoothing primer – and has zero fragrance.
The packaging is quite luxe too; a heavy glass bottle holds the primer and a pump dispenses the product.

Avon Birthday Balm Lip Crayons
I loved these Birthday Balm lip crayons the moment I tried them.
The formula is super smooth, creamy and make my lips look juicy and full. They never get sticky or gunky on the lips either.
You can see me wearing the shades “Birthday Suit”, “Surprise” and “Fine Wine” below and each of them are stunning!
If you love a great tinted lip balm, I recommend buying these Birthday Balm lip crayons in bulk – they come in 6 delicious shades!
Avon Cashmere Complexion Long Wear Foundation and Concealer
Foundation and concealer are always tricky beasts to review, but both of these products worked out really well for my combo skin.
The Cashmere Complexion Foundation is lightweight, hydrating and easily blends with a sponge to provide light to medium buildable coverage. It comes with a large doe-foot applicator, which isn’t my favourite dispensing method for a foundation, I’d prefer a pump.
The foundation doesn’t accentuate my pores or cake-up in my tricky areas and provides a beautiful satin, skin-like finish that lasts all day.
I do get slightly oily during the day, but this foundation doesn’t add to that shine and has quickly become one of my fave foundations this summer – it seriously knocked my socks off!
Only issue is the shade Avon sent to me is too dark, so I have to add some lightening drops to it.
The Cashmere Complexion Concealer is a true makeup gem and a must-have for anyone with fine lines or dry under-eyes who struggles to find a hydrating concealer.
This concealer blends like a dream and provides medium coverage with a slightly dewy finish to hydrate, brighten dark areas and make me look uber rested.
The formula is outstanding and I get zero creasing with it once I set it with powder.
It’s truly amazing and very similar in formula to the Catrice Cosmetics HD Liquid Camouflage concealer for anyone who has tried that one.
Avon Magix Dust Finishing Powder
This Magix Dust finishing powder is super finely milled and gives the skin a gorgeous glow without any heaviness.
This pure mineral powder blend of micro-milled crystals, minerals and precious gems is for the extra-fancy makeup lover and includes: rose quartz, ruby, tourmaline and pearl extracts.
It’s 100% naturally-derived formula also contains antioxidant green tea extract to enhance and smooth skin.
Magix Dust also has a no-spill, twist-and-lock sifter for easy application; just a couple sweeps along the high points of the face with a powder brush will make you glow all day.
Avon Love At 1st Lash Mascara
This waterproof mascara gives awesome volume and length and helps my lashes to hold a curl all day without flaking or falling apart!
It has a great curved wand that helps to evenly coat my lashes and removes easily with a makeup removing balm.
Love At 1st Lash is also paraben and sulfate free.
VDL Lumilayer Primer and Lip Cube Marble Glow Lip Balm
Avon has also extended their collaboration to Korean makeup brand VDL.
And yes, the VDL Lumilayer Primer – a longtime fave among Kbeauty enthusiasts – is now available from Avon!
This primer has a lightweight, shimmering consistency that can be applied under or over foundation to give skin an ethereal glow.
You can also feel like a chemist and mix this illuminating primer into your foundation for a glow boost.
I also enjoyed the stunningly-packaged VDL Expert Color Lip Cube Marble Glow lip balm, which includes Shea Butter to moisturize and nourish dry lips.
AVON FRAGRANCES
Avon Kate Eau de Parfum
I’m really picky with fragrances, because many of them can trigger headaches for me within about 5 minutes of smelling them.
Despite being somewhat of a fragrance hater, the Kate eau de parfum was an instant favourite.
The scent isn’t overpowering and hits all the fragrance notes I enjoy:
- Top Notes – watermelon & fresh ginger
- Middle Notes – light jasmine & peony
- Base Notes – sandalwood & musk
Live Out Loud Eau de Parfum
Live Out Loud is a fragrance that was sent to me months ago from Avon that I still enjoy.
With light whiffs of wild strawberry, sparkling mimosa and vanilla, it’s hard not to like, even though I’m not really someone who “lives out loud” like the name suggests.
If you’re a fruity fragrance lover, Live Out Loud is for you.
AVON SKIN CARE
Avon Balance and Soothe Moisture Therapy Microbiome Body Lotion and Body Wash
This body wash and body lotion are the newest additions to my body care collection from Avon.
These products were made to soothe and moisturize the skin while protecting the skin’s natural moisture barrier.
The Moisture Therapy body wash is sulfate free and cleans without stripping, while the lightweight Moisture Therapy body lotion spreads easily and hydrates skin without being heavy or greasy.
I’ve been using the moisturizer religiously after dry brushing and showering and it’s really helped reduce the red keratosis pilaris bumps I get on the back of my arms.
Both products come with pumps for easy dispensing, a practical packaging detail I totally love.
Avon X Dr. Belmeur Skin Care
I’ve wanted to try Dr. Belmeur Korean skin care for ages and the products I tried did not disappoint.
Reviewed in more detail here, the Advanced Cica Hydro Cream became my go-to daily morning moisturizer that hydrated and soothed my skin while sitting under my makeup all day long.
I’ve since finished the entire jar and would love to grab another!
The Cica Ampoule is still going strong in my morning skin care routine; it instantly hydrates my skin while reducing redness and any irritation that might come my way and is a true gem for me.
Avon x Belif Skin Care
Reviewed in more detail here, the Korean skin care products I tried from Belif were amazeballs!
After finishing both the True Cream Aqua Bomb moisturizer (for oily skin) and the True Cream Moisturizing Bomb (for dry skin) during spring and summer, my skin still misses them.
I’m still working on finishing the Aqua Bomb Jelly Cleanser though, it’s BIG and a little goes a long way to gently cleanse skin.

Avon Senses Fresh Bergamot & Wild Mint Body Mist, Body Lotion and Shower Gel
I’ve been paying more attention to my body care lately thanks to this Senses Fresh range from Avon that smells soft and lovely.
The body lotion is the perfect hydrator for the flaky, dry skin on my arms and legs and I love spraying the body mist into my freshly washed hair.
And who can resist a gentle foaming shower gel that smells lush?
AVON HAIR CARE
Avon Propolithera Elastine Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Mask
I instantly loved this Propolis-infused hair care range from Avon.
These products left my hair super soft and refreshed and the lovely pumps that come with the shampoo and conditioner make them so easy to use without making a mess in the shower.
You can read about the shampoo, conditioner and hair mask in my detailed review here¸ but I can tell you now that if you have dry, damaged hair, these nourishing sulfate free products are just what your locks need.
Oh yeah, they smell splendid too!
