As lavish as high-end makeup products are, I will always have a special place in my heart for budget beauty. There’s just something so satisfying about finding an amazing eye shadow, lip gloss or foundation that didn’t make you have to take out a second mortgage on your home, am I right?
Wet n’ Wild is a great of example of a cosmetics brand that manages to put out quality products that won’t break the bank, so I just had to share a few items from them that have brought a smile to my face on more than one occasion. They’re also cruelty free!!

Wet n’ Wild MegaGlo Highlighter
If you’re looking for some serious glow on your skin but can’t afford Becca highlighters, you must get your hands on these MegaGlo highlighters.
For about $5USD, these super fine highlighting powders will give you a gorgeous wet shimmer without emphasizing texture or looking heavy on the skin.
I featured my beloved “Blossom Glow” highlighter in my 2018 end-of-summer favourites post and it’s still a favourite among my highlight collection.

Wet n’ Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette in “Comfort Zone”
I heard great things about these eyeshadow palettes (there are 8 palettes in the Color Icon range) so I grabbed “Comfort Zone” when it was on sale for around $5CDN at my local drugstore.
While I didn’t use it much in the beginning (I was too focused on my Persona Cosmetics Identity Palette at the time) I’ve been using Comfort Zone a lot lately and it is stellar!
The shadows are super fine and silky soft (unlike the uber dry shadows in “The Wants” palette) and the two matte transition shades blend like a dream.
The shimmer shades give a beautiful shine to my lids and I love that I don’t have to wet my brush to apply them. There’s also a gorgeous duo-chrome in this palette that has a silvery-blue/brown shift that is stunning and very similar to the duo-chrome in the Soph x MUR palette.
You do get a bit of fallout with these shadows – they’re just so damn soft! – but nothing excessive.
Overall, Comfort Zone is a great neutral palette and I plan on picking up the purple-heavy V.I. Purple from this range next.
Tip: If you’re looking for a good dupe to the Anastasia Beverly Hills “Modern Renaissance” palette, I’ve heard Wet n’ Wild’s Color Icon palette in “Rosé In The Air” is a good one.

Wet n’ Wild MegaGlo Dual-Ended Contour Stick (light/medium)
I’ve been trying out some cream products lately and the Dual-Ended Contour Stick is in this cream-focused rotation. While I’m not a fan of the highlighting end (the shade is perfect, but it brings out my texture) I love the formula and shade of the contouring end.
It gives me a very subtle contour when applied with my e.l.f. Cosmetics Flawless Face brush and the shade is great for pale skin, which isn’t easy to find.

Wet n’ Wild Photo Focus Setting Spray
I love this setting spray! It comes in a great mist bottle that sprays the product perfectly and it doesn’t make my makeup greasy or dewy, just helps it to stay put all day long.
